Privacy Policy

Advanced Vision Solutions Inc. (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

This website has one place where you can give us information: the contact form. If you choose to fill it in, we receive the name and email address you enter, and — only if you choose to provide them — your phone number, company name, preferred contact method, the services you are interested in, your indicated budget range, and the content of your message.

Every field except name, email and message is optional. You decide how much to tell us.

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking scripts on this site, and we do not set cookies. We do not build visitor profiles, and we do not collect personal information from you simply because you read a page.

Why we collect it

We use what you send solely to reply to you and to discuss the work you are asking about. That is the only purpose. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without you asking us to.

How it reaches us

Contact form submissions are delivered to us by email through Resend, an email delivery provider. Your submission passes through and is stored on Resend’s systems as part of delivering that message. This website is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server request data (such as IP address) in order to serve pages and to protect the service from abuse.

Both providers operate infrastructure outside Canada, including in the United States. Personal information stored or processed in another country may be accessible to the courts and law enforcement of that country under its laws. If you would prefer not to use the form for this reason, email us directly instead.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our business dealings with you, and then delete it. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, so what you submit is encrypted in transit. We limit access to enquiries to those who need it to reply to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send confidential information, credentials, or sensitive personal details through the contact form. If you need to share something sensitive, contact us first and we will arrange a secure method.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. You may also withdraw consent for us to hold it, subject to legal and record-keeping requirements. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

This site links to external sites, such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.

Children

This site offers services to businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
